Milagro Middle School

Milagro's visit to the IAIA Museum of Contemporary Native American Art was eye opening for the students in Megan Avina's Makerspace class! Skateboards as canvas, neon lights as outline, floating pieces and reimagined SPAM cans as sculpture- just to name a few of the works that caught their attention. We learned about jewelry and the symbols it can hold, then created our own bolo tie works of art! Amazing ~

Milagro’s Thanksgiving luncheon was filled with family, friends and delicious turkey! SFPS Superintendent, Dr. Christine Griffin, rolled up her sleeves and served the students and their families a full thanksgiving feast!

Great news from SFPS! 📚 Student reading proficiency grew to 42%, continuing our upward trend, while math proficiency held steady at 22% for 2024–25.

Ms. DeLeon’s math students created posters using real life mathematical skills.

Yesterday was the first day of the MilaGROW Gardening Club with Mr. Pacheco. Club members got to harvest carrots, cucumbers, jalapeños, and cherry tomatoes. This produce will be given to the cafeteria for student lunches.
